Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia Oleg Bartsits has sent a congratulatory note to the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Abkhazia, Vyacheslav Gladkov, on the occasion of the Russian Federation’s public holiday — National Unity Day.

The note states, in particular:

"This day symbolizes the cohesion of the Russian people, their commitment to a shared duty, and respect for the country’s historical heritage. I am convinced that solidarity and civic harmony remain a solid foundation for the state’s sovereignty and its progressive development.

Taking this opportunity, I would like to highlight the constructive nature of the cooperation between the Republic of Abkhazia and the Russian Federation, including through our respective diplomatic missions. I look forward to the further strengthening of our allied relations and close coordination for the benefit of our peoples."

Oleg Bartsits wished Vyacheslav Gladkov and the entire staff of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Abkhazia good health, well-being, and success in their important diplomatic work.
